Nokk Now
Out of ice on a Saturday night? Ask the shops next door.
Post what you're short of. Businesses around you answer with a price and how soon. Asking costs nothing.
What ran out, and when?
These are the things people hunt for once the cash and carry has shut. Pick one and watch the offers come in.

What happens next, minute by minute
- 0 min
Your request goes out
Businesses near you that are on Nokk see it. You say how much you need and how urgent it is.
- 10 min
Nobody yet? The circle gets wider
It happens on its own. Your request reaches shops a bit further out, and you don't touch anything.
- 25 min
Wider again
Shops whose stock shows they carry the item get a nudge. Nobody sees their numbers.
- No luck
It expires, you pay nothing
The request closes and nothing is charged. Send it again whenever you like.
Once you say yes

Your address goes to one shop only
Until you accept an offer, nobody knows exactly where you are. After that, only the shop you picked can see it.
Two taps
Pick the offer that suits you and confirm. That's it.
Chat inside the app
For “I'm outside” or “come round the back”. You don't have to hand out your number.
Pick it up, or have it brought
If the offer includes delivery, the fee is written in it before you say yes. Afterwards you rate each other.

And when someone needs what you've got
The same requests reach you when a neighbour is looking for something in your storeroom. You send an offer at your own price. That's money from a shelf that was full anyway. And the Sunday you run short, you already know who answers.
You only answer what you want to
You set how many, the price, how soon, and whether you drop it off or they collect.
Your numbers stay yours
If you count your stock on Nokk, we may tell you someone's looking for an item you carry. How much you have, nobody sees.
A Sunday in August, mid-afternoon
15:40The beach bar has sunbeds full and the last lime on the board. They ask for two kilos.
15:43The taverna up the path answers: two kilos, €6.00, ready in four minutes.
15:44Two taps. The taverna sees where the bar is, nobody else does.
15:52Limes are on the board. They rate each other and get back to work.
An example to show the order of things. Times and prices are not from a real deal.
Questions people ask
What does it cost to ask?
Nothing. Posting a request is never charged, and neither is one that expires without an answer. During the pilot nothing is charged at all. After the official launch there is a percentage only on sales that close through Nokk: 3% for businesses that joined during the pilot, for as long as they stay, and 7% for everyone else. Delivery fees are outside that percentage.
Who sees my address?
Only the shop you choose, and only after you accept their offer. Before that, shops see what you're asking for, not exactly where you are.
What if nobody answers?
After 10 minutes the request widens on its own to shops further away. At 25 minutes it widens again and nudges shops that stock the item. If still nobody has it, it expires and you pay nothing.
Can they deliver it?
Yes, if the shop offers to. Every offer says whether you collect or they bring it, and any delivery fee is written in the offer before you accept.
Who can join?
Businesses only. We check your Greek tax number (ΑΦΜ) before the account goes live. After every deal both sides rate each other, so you know who you're dealing with.
Is there an app for iPhone and Android?
Both are coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. Until then you can do all of it on a computer at nokk.gr.
Does it work where I am?
We're starting in a few neighbourhoods, because a request only works when enough shops are close by. Join the pilot and we'll tell you when yours opens.
Sign up before the ice runs out again.
The pilot is free. Every shop that joins is one more that can answer you.
